Boycott Blogspot. Not!
With this clarification, also a sort of an apology from blogger, this post no longer represents reality and may be purged soon.

The blogosphere is a wonderful place. Amateur or professional, young or old, fat or thin, short or tall, we all felt welcome in here. We spread love without bounds with our links and comments, backlinks and pings. It was all very beautiful, until blogspot decided to make it ugly by resorting to apartheid.
In a case of discrimination against non-blogspot bloggers, blogspot has stopped allowing them to link to their blogs when commenting on a blogspot blog. I do not know if this is an attempt at trying to make every blogger a blogspot user or an attempt at turning blogspot into a closed user group. In any case, this is discrimination. Discrimination it is, my beloved reader!
The biggest losers are the bloggers still using blogspot. Many non-blogspot bloggers have stopped commenting on their blogs. Love, my dear reader, involves an exchange.
Some bloggers like Ruhi have started using filters to stop blogspot URLs from appearing on their blogs and have given a call to others to do the same. Some others plan to go to the extent of removing all blogspot blogs from their blogrolls. Though I have not resorted to these yet, owing to my immense love for Google, I do not rule out doing so in the future.
Dear reader, this is a call to all the wonderful people in the blogosphere to stand together against this apartheid. This is a call to all blogspot users to shift to another service and help register protest against discrimination. This is a call to all non-blogspot users to protest the discrimination by not commenting on any blogspot blogs. This is a call to boycott blogspot!
(For all blogspot users, I recommend wordpress to move your free blog to. Wordpress allows you to easily import all your posts and comments . You’ll lose none of your comments or posts, unless blogspot decides to play evil.)
Spread the Message! Bopycott Blogspot!

well…
i am not sure if i can quit blogspot..
there r still many people hanging on to it….
It’s really disappointing. But then, Google is too good to be left for me at least.
Can we do something about this so that Google comes back to its old stand?
I also want to know how is wordpress better than blogspot, since I have seen a number of cases where people have moved from blogspot to wordpress but u r probably the first one to recommend wordpress so strongly.
